The KAWS THE PROMISE Brown is a significant KAWS vinyl sculpture released in 2022.
The work depicts a large and small Companion character holding a globe of Earth together, creating an image centered around connection, responsibility, family, and the relationship between people and the planet.
THE PROMISE was created in connection with Dadu, Children’s Museum of Qatar, where KAWS’s monumental public artwork was presented in Doha during the 2022 FIFA World Cup period. The accompanying vinyl sculpture translated the larger public-art concept into a collectible format.
